How We Dont Work
A lot of installers and companies make money from re-selling hardware. No issues - as long as they’re adding value! BUT - as the saying goes: “Show me the incentive, and i’ll show you the outcome”. If they make money from selling equipment - then that’s what they’ll likely do - and it may not be in your best interest.
How We Do Work
Start With A Shared Goal
At EcoFinity we are about your success through education. We make money when you learn and understand the renewables space. We have a shared goal - if you succeed, then we succeed. That is critical for us.
Pricing & Structure
Here is our fees and process:
- Price: We have a $150 fee, which covers all our consultation services
- Initial Consultation: 1 hour: This will be a focused 1 on 1 session with you to go through everything. Take notes - it will be jam packed with lots of info!
- Search: You then take that knowledge and ask some installers for prices & quotes, validate what we say & see what is available. You’re about to spend a lot of money, it’s critical you ask around
- Follow-up Consultation: 1/2 hour: We go through what you found in detail, validate the solution & ensure it fits with everything, then pick a solution with you
- Additional Consultations: These can be availalbe if you want to have follow-up discussions, help with setup or configuration, P.O.A.
Consultations
This is our primary service, we provide high-touch 1 on 1 sessions where we get to know:
- Your objectives
- Your home, your appliances
- Your behaviours
We then go through the fundamentals of renewables:
- Industry trends
- Solution components
- Devices & Appliances
- How the components work together
Our Focus For You - A Lifetime
It’s becoming too common with devices to have something small fail, and throw out the entire device. At EcoFinity - whatever we recommend is designed to last as long as possible to ensure the lowest possible cost of the system over its entire life.
There’s lots of options and opinions, the way we ensure long term value for you throughout all of our recommendations:
- Maintainability: Simple solutions that require little effort to operate, and can adapt to changes in the future
- Repairability: We choose components that can easily be fixed, ensuring lowest cost for you over the lifespan of the system
- Interoperability: We make sure we dont lock you into a vendor, you can adjust and adapt as your requirements change
- Residual Value: If the worst was to happen, your system components will have value & not just be thrown in the bin, we aim to maximise re-use and recyclability
